As part of the maintenance of its electrical equipment and installations, the company Airports of Cameroon (ADC) SA is launching a call for applications for the recruitment of a Maintenance Technician specializing in electrotechnics, meeting the profile described below:

1. Main Mission
Reporting to a Section Head, the Electrical Maintenance Technician’s main mission is to perform daily electrical/electronic/electrotechnical repairs to ensure the continuous availability of airport equipment and facilities. The purpose of the position is to make electronic and electrical equipment operational.

2. Activities and Responsibilities
-Design, install, and maintain electrical installations; Install and mount equipment in cabinets or chassis;
Wire electrical cabinets (and PLCs);Diagnose automated system malfunctions and identify their causes; Perform tests, measurements, and adjustments prior to powering up equipment; Carry out routine maintenance on equipment (analyze and interpret alert messages and take appropriate action);Prepare technical intervention reports (measurement records, adjustments, etc.);Complete the daily log of electrical repairs; Follow all established maintenance procedures; Read and interpret electrical diagrams; Ensure the implementation of safety and security measures during interventions. 3. Required Profile Education and Experience Hold a Baccalaureate F3 diploma or equivalent; Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Technical Skills Have in-depth knowledge of wiring and identification techniques (low and high voltage wiring, power components, signals, etc.);

Possess in-depth knowledge of reading and creating electrical diagrams and controlling electrical equipment;
Have basic knowledge of automation;
Have a very good understanding of various methods for diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical (and automated) systems;
Have good knowledge of electrical and automated system maintenance; Have a perfect command of maintenance procedures;
Have good knowledge of security, airport safety, and information technology.

4. Working Conditions
Workplace: Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport.
Contract type: Permanent.
Hours: Position may require on-call duty and shift work. Remuneration: According to the salary scale and the candidate’s experience.
