Senior Accountant -Taxation & Accounting Reconstruction 💼

At #PaySika, we are strengthening our Administrative & Finance Department and looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to lead a strategic accounting and fiscal restructuring mission within our fintech ecosystem.

This role is designed for a rigorous, analytical, and high-performing finance professional capable of operating in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

🎯 Main Mission

The selected candidate will be responsible for the full retroactive reconstruction of the company’s accounting records covering fiscal years 2023–2026 within a period of 3 to 6 months.

🔎 Required Hard Skills

We are looking for a candidate with strong technical expertise in:

- Deep mastery of Cameroonian taxation (CGI) and CEMAC/COBAC regulations applicable to payment institutions.
- Strong knowledge of the OHADA Accounting System and accounting standards applicable to the financial sector.
- Expertise in tax declarations: Corporate Tax (IS), VAT, IRPP, withholding taxes, business license tax (patente), etc.
- Good understanding of digital payment flows (Mobile Money, prepaid cards, payment processors, fintech operations).
- Knowledge of IFRS standards (IAS 1, IAS 7, IAS 12, IAS 16, IAS 38) and banking taxation mechanisms.
- Strong command of accounting and ERP software such as Odoo, Sage 100, or Cegid.
- Proficiency with AI tools applied to accounting and finance (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) is considered a major asset.
