📚 1. LIBRARY OFFICER

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the library.
• Organize, catalog, classify and maintain library materials.
• Assist students and staff in accessing learning and research resources.
• Manage borrowing, returns, renewals and tracking of materials.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and users.
• Support the use of digital library resources and online databases.
• Prepare periodic reports and perform other duties assigned by management.

• Degree or professional qualification in Library Science, Information Science, Records Management or a related field.
• Relevant library experience, preferably in an educational institution.
• Knowledge of library management systems and digital resources.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with students and staff.

🤝 2. MENTORSHIP & COUNSELING OFFICER

• Provide professional counseling and guidance to students on academic, personal, social and career matters.
• Develop and implement student mentorship programs.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions while maintaining confidentiality.
• Help students identify challenges affecting their academic performance.
• Support students experiencing academic, adjustment, interpersonal and other non-clinical challenges.
• Develop appropriate support strategies and maintain relevant records.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Social Work, Education, Human Services or a related field.
• Professional training/certification in counseling, psychotherapy or mentorship is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in counseling, mentorship, youth development or a similar role, preferably in higher education.
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with students.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• High integrity, empathy, professionalism and emotional maturity.
• Good computer and reporting skills.
